I've been with YOURS for 6yrs now, & along the way, I’ve learned quite a bit—mainly through experience w/multiple hairdressers who lacked proper training & expertise to install hand-tied wefts correctly. Many stylists fresh out of school are eager to offer extension services, yet few truly understand the nuances of proper placement, weight distribution, & long-term wearability.
In my first install, a newly licensed stylist from a well-known academy applied three full packs of hair—without considering my natural density, baby fine hair, the summer heat, or the fact that I had an extended beach trip planned. The result? Far too much weight, excessive tension, hair falling out, & an install doomed from the start. Unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated experience. I found that many young stylists approach extensions as just another service to add to their price list rather than a specialized skill that requires precision & expertise.
My fiancé & I are both professionals, fully capable of learning new skills, so after experiencing multiple overpriced (THOUSANDS OF $$)for poorly executed installs, we decided to take matters into our own hands. If a stylist w/limited experience could attempt it, surely we could study the proper methods & do it the right way. We took the time to research extensively, watched every tutorial, read everything available, & invested in professional tools. The difference? Every singl3 install we do is customized to my exact needs—w/out excess weight, improper stitching, or unnecessary return visits for adjustments.
YOURS makes exceptional hair, & when installed correctly, and with proper care it’s seamless, comfortable, & really long-lasting. I’m grateful for the quality YOURS provides, & I’ll never go back to blindly trusting just any stylist who claims they can install hand-tied wefts without the proper experience. A quality install should be about the client’s hair health & long-term wear, not just how many packs can be sold in one appointment or improperly installing with costly adjustment fees.

The hair was good and the process was easy. However I have discovered I am not a fan of how they feel on my head. Also I never got a refund for the shipping as I was told I would be getting.

My hair took 8.5 weeks to receive which was in the window of when I was expected to receive them so, that was great. The hair is great quality and smelled good when I received my hair. My only complaint is my hair was not the same color of the swatch I based my order off of. It looked a lot different than what I thought I was getting but overall I was still really happy.
My review is a 4/5 stars only because of the shipping time. While the quality is worth the wait and sooooooo reasonable for quality, length and longevity, I do wish the shipping time was quicker. If a guest is willing to have 22” or less I can usually get hair within 3 days that has same longevity from a different brand. While I’m extremely pleased with Yours extensions I like to provide honest feedback. By no means is the review rate for the hair quality because that is a 10/10 every single time. I also realize custom lengths will take longer but I just feel 10 weeks is a longgggg time.

I love a hair swatch and there are so many beautiful options however the swatches were a little larger than I was expecting. It’s not a big deal but compared to pictures I was seeing the swatch came a little different
